Renee has a BS in Language Disorders, a BS in Elementary Education, and an MS in Elementary Education all from Missouri State University. She has training in Professional Learning Communities (PLC), Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Cognitive Coaching. She has served as an Everyday Math trainer at Southwest Center for Educational Services. She has also been awarded both Certified Elementary Employee of the Month and the Gold Star Elementary Teacher of the Year in her district. She has been trained in Kagen Cooperative Learning Structures and Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP). Renee has completed the Smart Step Literacy Lab and an additional six literacy courses through Harding University. She’s served on her district’s curriculum committee and was instrumental in implementing the house system at her school.
Laura has a BA in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Baptist University and an MS in Teaching from Pittsburg State University. She has been trained in the Davis Learning Strategies for Dyslexia. Laura has also obtained a Comprehensive Literacy Model (CLM) national coaching certificate from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA.She has been named Certified Employee of the month as well as the Gold Star Elementary Teacher of the Year award in her district. She has been trained in Kagen Cooperative Learning Structures and Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP). We often refer to ourselves as the Golden G.O.A.T.s (and a kid!) because Shelby is the “kid” on our team. She has a BS in Secondary English Education from Missouri Southern State University. She’s also taken additional elementary education courses through Augsburg University. She has experience in middle, junior high, and high school ELA. She served on her school’s reading RTI committee as well as the Positive Behavior Supports and Interventions (PBIS) committee. She assists in designing resources to help teachers implement effective and engaging strategies into their classrooms. She also runs our website and provides tech support!
